NEWS: Amitabh Bachchan, son Abhishek clinch Big Star Entertainment awards

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is happy that both he and his son Abhishek bagged trophies at a same award function in Mumbai. Amitabh, 72, and Abhishek, 38, were both nominated at Big Star Entertainment in different categories for their movies Bhootnath Returns and Happy New Year'.


Amitabh has wrapped up shooting for his two upcoming films—Wazir and Shamitabh.

Big B posted on Twitter about his feelings of sharing the stage with his son at the function. He wrote:

Amitabh also posted a picture of the duo holding their trophies. Abhishek won Big Star Most Entertaining Actor in a Comedy Film—Male for Happy New Year and Amitabh won for Big Star Most Entertaining Actor in a Social Drama Film—Male for Bhootnath Returns.
